The Bosio has been appointed member (one of the three Italian members) of Unesco Global Alliance for cultural diversity. The most important world cultural body has rewarded Bosio’s enduring and coherent commitment underlain by a both local and global rationale,which, since the foundation of the centre in 1978, has been pursued.
Moreover, the Nosside Poetry Prize, Bosio’s main project (with its two sections “Internazionale” and “Caribe”, geared to expand international horizons with respect of the most neglected ethnic minorities) was included in the authoritative Unesco World Poetry Directory.
Therefore, the Prize has been valued for its outstanding openness to all languages and forms of expression; in fact, it supports old and minor languages as cultural human heritage to preserve.
